A 10.0-megapixel of high resolution can capture the world around in vivid color and lavish details.
12x optical zoom lens covers an extraordinary focal range of 33-396mm*, extending your shooting reach enough to zoom in to those smiles.
A function to follow moving subjects in standard wide view for easy framing at high zoom settings. With a single press of a button, the subject tracked within the selected frame on the LCD, will be captured and saved at a high zoom ratio (1.4x or 2x digital zoom).
Super Macro mode sets an accurate focus moving in as close as approx. 2cm (0.8 inch) . Impressive full-frame close-ups can be taken.
Supplied with impressive powerful zooming functions, the FinePix S1500 achieved its comfort through lightweight and a small dimension for you to take it anywhere with ease.
Tracking Auto Focus function tracks the subject automatically for as long as the shutter is half pressed and the subject is kept inside the frame.
The new Panorama Shooting Mode* makes it easy to create impressive panoramic photos. This mode captures and combines max 3 consecutive shots, that are saved to the memory card as a single panoramic picture.
Framed scenes are automatically detected and selected into 6 appropriate camera settings: Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait, Backlit Portrait.
Face Detection instantly identifies the faces in the frame, and automatically optimizes focus and exposure up to 6 faces at a time.
Red-Eye Removal automatically detects faces and corrects flash reflected red-eye for a perfect end result.
Zooms in on a detected face, then crops and saves a “portrait” shot in the camera.
The combination of high sensitivity and CCD shift image stabilization works to eliminate blurred photos by freezing action and minimizing blurs at maximum zoom range.
Maximum sensitivity of ISO6400* lets you take natural, lifelike photos, even with limited available light. And high sensitivity also lets you stop the action, even when the subject is moving at high speeds.
A high-speed continuous shooting function that captures up to 13.5 frames per second in a burst, effective for any photographer to capture fast moving subjects.
